IN 2024 I DECIDED TO PICK UP A TABLET AND BEGAN DRAWING. I’m still learning the fundamentals, but art has allowed me to further appreciate the characters and pairings I love!

Nostalgia Department.

I WRITE REVIEWS TO START A CONVERSATION. As an avid reader of books and manga, I wanted to find other people who enjoy the same things I enjoy. I wanted to reach people who might share similar tastes as me or to expose others to media that’s often overlooked in popular culture. Comprising two YouTube channels and a tumblr blog, the Nostalgia Department encompasses my thoughts and opinions on various media I check out.

IF NO ONE ELSE WILL WRITE MY RARE PAIRS FALLING IN LOVE, then I have to do it myself. I’m a fanfic author who enjoys writing stories and scripts. I have also previously created some podfics of other people’s stories!

I STARTED WRITING REVIEWS because I found that other content creators out there didn’t quite align with my own tastes and interests when it came to media. I was searching for reviews for media outside the mainstream and found myself disappointed. There are so many pieces of media out there that aren’t considered “popular” that still deserve the time of day and analysis. I figured there might be others out there who share similar tastes to me, and I wanted to reach them. Maybe you’re a fan of something I’m not a big fan of or vice versa. Either way, we can still have a conversation and celebrate a medium of entertainment together!
